There are many points here where I really beg to disagree with this writer. First of all, the Church is not perfect. It is made up of sinners like me. It is a hospice full of people like me who are dying in our sins only to rise with Christ. Secondly, the apostles were well aware of different "followers". They emphasized that people should be followers of Christ alone. If people are leaving "the church", it is entirely possible that they are leaving because they were hurt in some way by the church.

I am a devote Lutheran Christian from an orthodox body, the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. I voted for Joe Biden because I felt he was the better man. I am obligated to prayerfully support whoever is elected to public office whatever party they are affiliated with. I would be the first to invite Keith Michael to come and worship at one of the many LCMS Lutheran congregations to see who we really are.
